Want to run your own Cock & Bull Cup Pub Tournament? Here's how it works:
This page is your guide to running a monthly Cock & Bull Cup tournament at your favorite pub, tavern or brewery. The current tournament structure is designed to maximize fun and excitement for all players, and to reward those who loyally attend the most monthly tournaments during the year.
If you are a pub owner, you will definitely benefit by the extra people a tournament brings in on an otherwise slow night, currently up to 32 players plus 4 alternates and other onlookers. Cock & Bull tournaments attract the attention of everyone in the pub and sometimes people out on the street!
If you want to be a Cock & Bull Game Master, the rewards are many. Not only will the pub treat you like a king, you will be showered with the affections of many new friendships. You will also be the last and final word for any question or concern that may arise during game play. YOU run the show.
Currently I run two monthly tournaments at two different breweries located at opposite ends of San Diego County. These two venues both work very well, each in their own way. I have learned by trial and error what works and what doesn't, so this guide will make it easy for you to be the life of the party.

The Cock & Bull Cup Tournament Trophy:
Affectionately known as "Old Dutch," this hand made,
1 pint tankard serves as a traveling trophy and a symbol
of the Cock & Bull Cup defender. A tournament winner
immediately becomes the defender of the cup, and
retains the vessel of victory until the next tournament.
Should the defender be defeated by a challenger,
the cup will pass on to a new Champion.
Tradition holds that only cup defenders are allowed to inscribe their name on the cup. Also, special privileges will be bestowed upon the defender when the cup is brandished at the taps of the pub.
So come on and join in on the fun, I hope to see you soon! ~F. M. S.
